Surprises keep love alive. And it was Simpson’s turn to be taken by surprise when her American footballer boyfriend took the stage and sang ‘Sweet Child O’ Mine’ for his girlfriend.

It was at Hollywood’s Key Club on Monday night that Tony Romo rocked the audience with his ‘energetic’ rendition of the Guns ‘n Roses anthem.

Music can do wonders and it made Simpon’s evening wonderful. She was celebrating her 28th birthday early that evening and her boyfriend’s musical birthday gift must have made her year.
