Another case of a spoiled brat disgracing some women or playing with some one’s life or just ridiculing the law of land!

There are scores of cases in past 8-10 years only showing such behavior. In all these cases the powerful and wealthy family tries its best to keep the accused out of laws hands and succeeds too, for some time at lest.

It’s a shame that people with money and power in India cannot produce responsible citizens. On the top of it they help in and justify all their misdeeds.

At Last! A rape victim got justice. But at the cost of her life.

I’m sure these people will now file an appeal in the High Court or the Supreme Court. Hope the judgment does not get changed.

Rest assured the likelihood of the reversal of this judgment is extremely remote. Besides, in case of such heinous crimes courts tend to take a harsher view in appeal and refuse to reconsider the evidence unless the illegality is writ large.

There should be some realllllllly scary, terrifying punishment for such crimes...no one should even dream of commiting them

Better late than never. Should be publicly flogged and then hanged until death. My recommendation...there should be a live telecast of this, I am sure this will deter many men of dreaming to rape their dates.

@ Sanwali...I also would fervently pray that the decision should not get changed when they appeal( which I know they definitely will) to higher judicial authorities.
And Nishi...along with Sharmila you have one more supporter here of your novel recommendation!

There is no likelihood of the reversal of the judgment or reduction in the sentence. It is the maximum punishment and all mitigating circumstances have been considered by the court.
The only thing that can compel the High Court to reverse the judgment in this case could be admission of improper evidence, or illegal procedure adopted by the investigators to gather the same. So far not such illegality has been found or pointed out.
